Our Full-Day Kruger National Park Safari is the perfect way to experience one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations. Departing from Hoedspruit in the early morning, you'll spend an entire day exploring Kruger's diverse ecosystems with an experienced local guide who knows exactly where to find the best wildlife.
Kruger National Park is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including all of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). With over 140 mammal species and 500 bird species, every game drive offers something new and exciting. The full day allows you to cover more ground, visit multiple habitats, and significantly increase your chances of spectacular wildlife encounters.
We collect you from your lodge or guesthouse in Hoedspruit or the surrounding area. Early starts are essential for the best wildlife viewing!
We enter through Orpen Gate (or Phalaborwa Gate depending on route) just as the park opens. All conservation fees and permits are included in your safari price.
The morning is prime time for wildlife activity. We explore various habitats—riverine forests, open plains, and waterholes—searching for lions, elephants, leopards, and more. Your guide will share fascinating insights about animal behavior, tracks, and the Kruger ecosystem.
Stop at one of Kruger's rest camps for a delicious brunch (included in safari price). Relax, use facilities, browse the curio shop, and enjoy the surroundings. Popular rest camps include Satara, Olifants, and Letaba.
Continue your safari adventure! The afternoon drive explores different areas of the park. As temperatures cool, animals become more active again. This is an excellent time for predator sightings as cats begin their evening hunts.
As the day winds down, we make our way back to the gate and return you to your accommodation in Hoedspruit. Share stories of the day's sightings and enjoy the sunset over the African bushveld.
